Where Bella Roma Stands

Bella Roma is a well-regarded neighbourhood Italian restaurant in Hammersmith, West London. The kitchen and service consistently earn praise — the tiramisu has a near-perfect 4.9★ rating across 142 reviews. The core issue is digital infrastructure and visibility — the restaurant is losing bookings to competitors who rank higher in local search and have better online presence.

The biggest revenue leak is the Google Business Profile — it is claimed but missing hours on two days, has only 3 photos (competitors average 18), and the menu link is broken. Completing this alone would likely move Bella Roma from the 3-pack below the fold to the top 3 results for "Italian restaurant near me" in a 1.5-mile radius.

The good news: the fixes are tactically straightforward and low-cost. Claiming and completing the GBP, adding menu pricing anchors, and building a review response strategy would move the Resto Score from 74 to an estimated 82–86 within four weeks — unlocking an estimated +12–18 additional covers per week, or approximately £840–£1,260/week in additional revenue.

"The tiramisu is genuinely the best I've had outside of Italy. Had the cacio e pepe and it was flawless. Service was warm and unhurried. Will become our regular."

Suggested Response — Professional

"James, grazie mille! We're absolutely thrilled the cacio e pepe hit the mark — it's one of Marco's signatures. So glad you'll be joining us regularly. See you soon!"

Suggested Response — Warm

"This review made my whole week, James! 🍝 Our Marco will be so proud of the cacio e pepe — he insists on hand-grating the pecorino every morning. Can't wait to have you back!"

"Beautiful restaurant but waited 50 minutes for our预订 and nobody apologised or explained. Food was good when it arrived but the experience was soured by the wait."

Recovery Response

"Priya, we are truly sorry. A 50-minute wait with no communication is not the experience we want for our guests — and especially not for a special occasion. We have spoken to the team about our table management and will ensure this doesn't happen again. We'd love to welcome you back and make it right. Please reach us at hello@bellaroma.co.uk."
